Endless Sunsets.. this is one of 'em..

There is no end to the beautiful sunsets at Indiana Dunes State Park and the beach area is a wonderful place to snap them. Tonight, after sunset, it got far windier than it had been.. the white caps starting out on the Lake. Beautiful scenery and NO MOSQUITOES on a windy night like this.. Yippee! :)

Barred Owl

This Barred Owl, pointed out by one of the Security Guards over at the Indiana Dunes State Park, hardly even moved, as we took photos of him.. I took this one.. just as Dave said "if only you could get him with his head turned like it is right now"..!! lol I raised the camera and clicked the shutter before I even knew what I had in the viewfinder.. Cool. :)

Looking Out Over the Lake..

One of many storms that approach the Indiana Dunes State Park shoreline. Many storms stay out over Lake Michigan, which makes the beach an ideal place for viewing them. 6-28-2008
